Bridging Differences: Applying Cultural Intelligence in Hospice & Palliative Nursing

Bridging Differences: Applying Cultural Intelligence in Hospice & Palliative Nursing

This interactive two-hour workshop introduces palliative nurses to cultural intelligence as a dynamic and ongoing framework to identify and mitigate bias within health care. Through real-world case studies and group discussion, participants will explore how to honor the full humanity of patients, families, and colleagues while building community across differences.

Rooted in cultural intelligence principles, the workshop provides practical tools to refocus care processes and address inequities within diverse and global health care environments. The workshop will provide practical steps for building personal CQ and use case studies to explore the effective application of the framework to deliver person-centered palliative care and address inequities within multicultural teams and diverse patient populations.

The first 30 people to register received free registration, generously funded by the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Foundation. Please register only if you are available to be present for the entire workshop.
