Dyspnea Treatment Pathway
Dyspnea is a multidimensional symptom, consisting of affective as well as physical aspects derived from multiple physiological, psychological, and environmental factors. This course focuses on the assessment and care of patients with advanced terminal illness who develop dyspnea and the management of specific causes of dyspnea. A deeper dive into dyspnea etiology in heart failure, COPD, lung cancer, and other common causes will be discussed. This course offers 1.25 NCPDs after completion.
