During this time of COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of incorporating the principles of palliative care across all disciplines and settings has never been more important. Although palliative care is crossing all healthcare environments, not all nurses are confident in their knowledge about the foundational elements. The desired outcomes of this ½ day pre-conference session is to support the learning curve vital to advance palliative nursing across all settings for all nurses by establishing a solid educational foundation to empower nurses to lead and transform palliative nursing practice throughout the healthcare continuum. 3.75 hours NCPD and 1.0 hours Category 1 Pharm Credits will be awarded for session successful completion.
