APRN Learning: Implicit Bias Moving Beyond Perceptual Lens
The intent of this ANCC accredited activity is to introduce participants to the concept of implicit bias and its negative effect on payment/family outcomes. This learning activity is aimed to provide participants with an opportunity to examine the impact of implicit bias and healthcare disparities on the patient-provider interactions and patient outcomes for individuals with serious illness. Learners will have the chance to explore strategies and tools for recognizing and reducing/mitigating personal implicit bias.
