Scaling Compassion: How AI Validates Nursing Intuition for Earlier Palliative Intervention

Scaling Compassion: How AI Validates Nursing Intuition for Earlier Palliative Intervention

Nurses often recognize when patients could benefit from palliative care well before a formal referral is made. This recorded webinar explores how early integration of palliative care supports the Quadruple Aim—enhancing patient experience, improving population health, reducing costs, and supporting clinician well-being—while addressing common barriers that delay timely access.

Participants will learn how artificial intelligence (AI) can complement and validate nursing intuition through predictive insights that help identify patients earlier in their disease trajectory. The webinar also addresses common concerns about AI, including ethics, trust, and maintaining compassionate, human-centered care. Nurses will leave with practical strategies and a clear call to action to advocate for earlier palliative care integration in their practice.

Continuing Education: Successful activity completion awards the learner 0.68 nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) contact hours.
